CEOs make a lot more than minimum wage

This will come as no surprise for many: the gap between CEO pay and minimum wage is growing. The minimum wage hasn’t grown much over the year.
The Economic Policy Institute said earnings data shows the average chief executive earned 821 times as much as a minimum wage worker, the highest gap ever.
Consider that this is just the average CEO pay. Some CEO’s make way above average.
The most amazing part of this study is that the basic pay for minimum wage hasn’t gone up since 1955. The disparity is obvious in other areas as well.
One thing this study teaches us for sure: it’s much better to be a CEO than a burger flipper, if you can land the gig.
