Distribution plan
What is a distribution plan?
Distribution plans are adopted by mutual fund companies to charge distribution costs (usually for advertising and promotions) to shareholders.
These plans specify a certain percentage which is deducted from the fund's assets on a yearly basis. This figure is usually .75% or lower.
