Income Dividend

Income Dividend is the payout to shareholders of a mutual fund, any income derived from dividends or interest.

Income dividends are required by law to be paid to shareholders of mutual funds. An investor can choose to take the proceeds in cash, or can use the income dividend to purchase more shares of the mutual fund.
