What are Big Uglies
Big Uglies is a term used to describe stocks that have fallen out of favor with the investing public. Generally the companies are in an unglamorous industry like certain manufacturing or industrial sectors.
One advantage to investing in a Big Ugly is that the company is generally selling for a low P/E because the company has fallen out of favor.
