Ex-Div

In essence, the term ex-dividend refers to the time a shareholder is without a dividend. If a stock is trading in an ex-div state, anyone who buys the stock will not receive the dividend.

The Ex-Dividend Date is the date that the stocks goes ex-div. If the dividend is important to you, make sure you double check the dates.
