WellsTrader said: "Fist of all, he isnt supposed to trade single companies, only mutual funds and such, his boss (named Bill) is the one who is supposed to maek the trades for him. So he tries telling me to open a trading account, which i did to trade on my own. Then he proceeds to tell me since he cant make the trades he will tell me who to trade and I can jsut "hook him up on the side." I laughed in his face and left, but a guy like that doesn't need to be helping people that are new to the market like myself. Also, he tells me this mutual fund I am getting in is a Hartfor Large Cap fund, which was fine, then come to find out I am getting the prospectus for the Fidelity cap fund. Completely differant fund. The fidelity is doing better now anyway for me, but Regardless of the results of the fund, I like to know where my money is really goin."

Where did you find this broker? I can't believe that such a broker would work for a reputable financial services firm. This appears a bit shady to me, and I know as a fact that the SEC would consider this a violation of their agency relationship with you."

If you are you have to tell me because tis against the law." At that time I didnt have a clube what he was talking about... Now I wish someone would bust his @$$."

I've never met a licensed professional speak in such a manner. If I were you, I would personally be afraid to have him anywhere near my wallet. Do some research locally, and ask friends and colleagues about which financial planners and brokers they would recommend. Reputation is everything in this business."
