It fell apart over a disagreement over how possible anti-trust issues would be handled so its hard to imagine that NOBODY saw that as a potential issue/dealbreaker. Even market pundits including Cramer seemed to view the deal as such a sure thing that they were recommending stocks of companies not party to the transaction who they thought might benefit (such as Safeway). Comments?"
