on this account i have a tight stop loss of 12% for it seems to work well for me...

the question i would say is how much could they be able to generate with howard stern would it be = to 500$M or > 500M$ if so only time i think can tell us that.

Aliens take care of them I think. :D
Seriously, I don't think they need any maintenence but probably get replaced every decade or so I'd imagine....would be neat to know though."

I also wonder how long it will be before they start offering Satellite Television? It stands to reason if you are already up in the sky, you are going to try to gain a marketshare in other related services.
Everyone hates commercials. If the monthly subscriptions are figured in to the monthly payment, I'll bet a lot of consumers will bite."

Too much dilution, too much sideway trading, and not enough upward mobility are attributes of this stock that have made me a disbeliever.
Nowadays, the only traders profiting from this pig are scalpers."

This company has been hemorraging money like a crack-addict who won the lottery.
XM is not far behind by the way. I just hope that we see some positive EPS within this year."

....but XM is about to lose ground to SIRI because of the recent buying spree SIRI went on. Howard, NFL, NBA, NHL, the NRA channel.....and more and more and more.....radio is about listening and SIRI has signed all the big acts."

Personally don't and won't listen to himself anymore but he does have millions and millions of fans that are buying units for thier home and car to listen to him, he has been given 3 channels total to do what he wants...he will hire some interesting people for sure."

Siriusly disapointed said: "I see losses in the future for Sirius and if the other guys handle customers like Sirius does I see the fall of Satellite radio all together. Tonight I cancelled my subscription with Sirius, but only after a lot of arguing with the company and calling back to another rep.
The first rep told me that I was on an automatic renewal subscription (which I thought was illegal) and canceling before my year was up (in 4 days) would net me a HUGE cancellation fee. I personally do not like the service. I bought a year subscription and regretted it quickly. The only saving grace I found for the service was that the song title and artist were displayed on the screen. I find that the Apple IPOD is a cheaper service (even though the 18 month non-replaceable battery will cost you to purchase a new IPOD, as I have been told), and you get to listen the music YOU want to instead of just the genera. I stopped using my Sirius about four months into the contract and just waited for the contract to lapse. The only reason I had to call the company was because my bank account (credit card) was charged a $1 account check (meaning that they were confirming the card account still active so they could charge my 2nd unwanted subscription). I called the company and got the afore mentioned story from the rep. I hung up the phone and called back and got a representative that was remotely helpful and she cancelled the subscription and advised that I would not receive a refund for any remaining days on the contract (even their website and contracts state so). I have not been charged anything else as of yet, but I am expecting it. After (and if) I get charged for an unwanted subscription I am planning to contact a class action Attorney and look for others who have been wronged by this company. If any of you are Attorneys and you handle class action on contingency reply to me as so."

thats the point i was in about a year ago untill i got a new job selling car audio and home audio and once i listened to sat radio there was no way in hell i was going back. I know there will be some people that will refuse to go over because it is pay and they think they can get the same satisfaction out of a cd or a mp3 but for me after listining for a month i was hooked and never looked back."

ok for the car stuff your gonna need it professionaly installed. And as for the home stuff you have to understand what it is it is satalite radio. So it needs a clear view of the sky to work so just move it around some where untill you get good signol. Its not like regular radio where it can go through anythign it needs a clear view just like dish and directv. if you really need help with it i can help you out."

true...but I think they'll start including their product with other services as a perk....
also...I still think they are setting themselves up for being bought...
they have worked up alot of interest with NFL network on radio along with Stern as well which will have a strong following whether it be short or long term...
but I won't touch this stock for another 6 months at least probably..."

This company (SIRI)... with or without Howard Stern is posed to fail. There spending habits are out of this world. Unless you like giving to charities DO NOT BUY THIS STOCK. SIRI was planning on getting big reviews and more subscribers because of Howard Stern... did they? NO. Look at the companies website. I feel bad for the people who invested in this stock.

yeah, I found out that people were illegally re-broadcasting Stern's show..
but as I said previously...I think they are setting themselves to be bought out by something bigger....

Today, I'm thinking 5.50 is coming up in the next week or so, and that will be hard to resist. I could never buy into sirius, too long term. For those who want to hold a stock for a year, this is the time to get into sirius...but I said that last month and 2 weeks ago....
At any rate, wasn't Howard Stern suppose to help Sirius? And wasn't this stock expected to sky-rocket?"

That is correct... Howard Stern was "supposed to" help Sirius BUT unfortunately that was only out of the mouths of SIRIUS and Howard Stern (because he wants his $$).
The reason SIRIUS isnt doing so well is because they are spending money like crazy and not earning enough. It is okay for Google to spend money on expanding but SIRIUS is not doing that. The only customers they are getting are ages 65+ and that is when they buy new cars they get suckered into buying the shitty service... now thoughs customers dont get anything extra and soon die... ie: no more customer.
This stock will hit $5.20 shortly... maybe I will buy... NOT :D

The comedy is good, but like I said, it's my parents car, and I really do not want the awkwardness of listening to it with my parents.
I would still much rather listen to my own CD's."
