Moretzdl said: "got another one..move gallery (movi)..one reason i bought it is because i am an advent movie gallery customer and i like the selections and it looks like to me as a customer that they have a very good business with them....however the online rental business like netflix and such hurt places like movie gallery and block buster....movie gallery is at is 52 week low at 3.40 down from 34.00, and there are rumors of a buyout or going private....im holdin on to this stock im thinking it might hit 6 bucks in the nxt couple of months...nothin hurts to try or hope.....any comments"

zebbers said: "you could try to make a play off of the rumours or reality of a buyout but I would not call movi a long term play. The entire rental business is hurting and the already weak guns won't be able to turn it around if the big ones can't survive."

zebbers said: "Barring substantial developments in broadband and the MPAA's loosening restrictions on edelivery of movies, the brick and mortars wont ever go out of business. They may hurt. The numbers may dwindle, but it is impossible for netflix to serve the "Lets go pick up a movie" segment. Decreasing marketshare & competition don't always == death."
