Xide

I think they do renegotiate, and I feel this was an overreaction. Bought and will wait for news (hopefully good) on the status of their credit."

zebbers said: "Yeah...they just inked a 10mill deal with BMW and like I said, I feel this drop is a major overreaction. Exide is a big company and, despite this past quarters performance, I think their creditors will work this out with them. Unfortunately, I got in at 2.91 but still...even if it only regains 50% of the loss, it's a nice return. :)"

zebbers said: "boy am I kicking myself for the 2.91 buy :-/. I guess I'll file that as a lesson learned. Hopefully the next few days see it closing up a little.."

zebbers said: "Well...I know I'm pretty much talking to myself...but this is what I was hoping for, I hope the market reacts well to this and I can get out as close to even or plus as possible: http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/813781/000129993306001865/0001299933-06-001865-index.htm Basically, as I thought...they worked it out with their lenders so they will NOT be in default when the quarter ends. Now...as their earnings expectations weren't *that* far off for the previous quarter, I believe their decline was mainly due to the threat of default. Now the threat is removed...lets hope for some upswing."

zebbers said: "Response is slightly positive. Jumped to 2.75 early but has settled down and floated in the 2.65 range all day. I'll take anything positive today. Was hoping for a better reaction but maybe it just needs a some time to recover from the initial downgrade."
