Trading Techniques I Need Some

RookieTrader said: "Recently viewing Cnbc i came across many brokers, dealers, and many other ads that caught my eye, I have just started trading and i want to learn some trading Techniques/Strategies, the only commerical for that on Cnbc seemed to be this company named bestdaytrader, i went to their website and noticed many things from videos, to letters, to even teaching you how to trade one-on-one(mentorships) if any one knows from first hand experience how this company is could you give me some advice. Or if there is some other company that would be better for me please advise. Thank You,"

RookieTrader said: "no i am not doin hands on training its all online and i am looking to invest in some stock what is the best way to determine if the stock is the right choice, do i look back in previous months to see how well its been doing or how can i assume that the stock will be profitable for me."

HappyHarry said: "You want to look back as far as possible. If a company has been able to maintain really consistent earnings for a long time frame, they're much more likely to be able to bring in earnings again in-line with their predictions. Predictability is a VERY good thing when analyzing stocks."

Yoshimi said: "so many people tell me that their trading technique is: buy low, sell high.. which is stupid, we all do that, or at least try. The problem is finding a stock that is technically low priced, and will soon go up. so dont ever let someone tell you their trading technique is buy low, sell high. ask them how exactly they do that.."

HappyHarry said: "If you can find a really "low-priced" stock of an excellent company you can hold it for awhile and make some big money."

chahinemm said: "i think there is a missconception about this theory because it doesn't necessarily mean that buying cheap means buying below 5$ by my small experience it means buying at a price discounted from the real value of the business itself even if the price of the stock is 50$ or 50c . chahine"

HappyHarry said: "Yes, for sure. "Cheap" is a relative phrase term that could mean many different things."
