What high ticket item do you plan on buying?

They are all registered and transferable, you have to pay a $200 tax everytime you buy one and it takes about 6 months for the feds to do a backround check and ok the purchase. I don't see a stop in the price rising...there are always people who have unlimited cash and want something most can't afford."

Yoshimi said: "yea but how would you get any money out of it? do you think someone would actually buy a 20K-30K gun? I mean.. how expensive can a gun get?"

The house ended up selling for break-even. If he kept the guns, they would be worth 3 times what the house is worth now."

Heather said: "I'm sure that the house sounded more like a "sound" investment. If nothing else, it provides shelter for you and your family. But I'm also sure the guy is kicking himself in the butt right now."

Heather said: ".. My pick for a high ticket item? Beautiful trinkets made of diamonds, platinum, emeralds, rubies and sapphires. (Hey, I'm a girl :) )"

HappyHarry said: "Gems cost quite a bit of money!"

Heather said: "They do, but they retain value. You can pick up some beautiful stuff tax free in the Bahamas. That'll shave a couple hundred off right there."

HappyHarry said: "Next big ticket item I need is a plasma TV, but I'd rather wait until they get cheap. I mean its no big deal."
