Is Starbucks (SBUX) a good investment right now? I've bought 51 shares when it was 62.43 but now it has dropped to 59.74. Do you think this is a temporary setback or could there be problems in the future. My time-frame for this stock is short-term around 3-4 months, looking for a profit of around 15-20%
Nice to meet y'all

Starbucks is too solid of a stock to have that kinda gain in such a short time frame. I'd consider SEtarbucks a great long term stock but I don't exdpect to see it shoot off. Starbuck's stock has already experienced the positive growth from the popularity of Starbucks. Starbucks is already a househol name so it his in the maturity phase of it's business life. Unless they begin going into different industries I don't expect Starbucks to make more than maybe 15% in a year. Unless you desperately need the money for other projects though you should keep the stock. I expect that the price will probably go back up to atleast where you bought it at and probably higher, just give it time."

As the companies get more mature, it's tougher for them to generate the kind of returns they did as a startup. It's all part of their business life cycle."
