bennettbike said: "Hey guys, do you think Intel (INTC) corp. will get any lower ? I think its about time to buy, i plan to get in this company in the next week.
should I buy at the current price (goal is 24$ even sell target)
or see if it drops lower into the 18$'s"
techtrader said: "i think that 18s is the target. This is a long term hold and I expect to see the stock climb when windows vista is released since I think that a lot of people will need to upgrade there computers to run it. maybe 1-1.5 to regain the 20% drop. Just a guess"
trickynick said: "Maybe it will go lower, but I still think it is a buy at this level. The worries about Intel are way overdone at these price levels. Ditto for the other big cap tech companies. There has not been large sacle business investment in technological capital since the late 90's. Even if the equipment currently in use meets the business requirements it serves, tech capital does not last forever, it has to be replaced at some point in time and that's when these big cap tech companies will see some recovery in their recently slumping revenues."

you made a great point. thank you."
jackqdean said: "Its problem is short term on inventory, Ramp-up, PC sales slow down, Semi industry slow down.
Jan 07 release of Microsoft Vista should boost PC sales. Wait for the dip from current price level just to be safe. I could not see anyone believe it is going straight up from here.

TheNewWallStreet said: "I think Intel may be undervalued at these levels. On a historic basis, their P/E is very low. Granted, growth has slowed, but they present good value here in my opinion. On the Wall Street 2.0 Message Boards, Intel has been a hot topic of discussion as of late, here is the link... Hanger said: "My opinion-
Looking at the chart, it almost appears set to breakthrough on the upper trendline....
Using history as an indication, alot of times when a company breaks through the upper trendline it will continue upward...and the opposite for lower trendlines and going lower....
Definately requires a little more indepth chart reading/drawing, this is just my quick opinion...
Good luck either way.."

"

Any comments on other risk factors ???

Those are the same risk factors they've been facing for years."
