In terms of brokerage there are many out there.
Ameritrade
scottrade
optionsxpress
lowtrades
and the list goees on and on
In terms of your choice of penny im not sure if its something that i would recommend by your level of experience. As penny stocks are very dangerous and one mistake can turn a trade from a winning to a loosing and can be costly on your money.
If you are interested i would recommend you paper trade for a while and look into if the penny stock is generating you "virtual" money and if so then invest real money. if its not im sure there are thousands of different more stable stocks that can generate money.
so don't hesitate asking questions over here as we know how that 2 brains don't think a like and that helps in making sure the trade you will trade for will generate you money.

Investing is when you put money in expecting to get money out."
That_Guy said: "yeah i understand its like gambling lol ive read that many times.....i know what kind of money i could lose in it. The thing is i dont feel like waiting for a long time to start making money out of stocks or any investment, and i know it doesnt work like that. Im pretty responsible with money but i still cant seem to save any lol. anyways thanks for the advice."

fruits of taughts... its 2 way u save money and u get to spend it in what u want... i don't mind it ;)
PS when i get time ill post a little article thta im in the process of compiling about what graham would think about penny stocks ...

Just start wisely. If you start tucking away money now (at age 14) the money you stow away could profit big.

much saving today can pay off in the future."

I also use Yahoo stock screener is pretty fast for pulling up stocks to view their history and shows if it split. Since I also have aol, I use their finance news to view articles not listed in ameritrade or Yahoo. With those 3 sources, I can get an objective view on the stock. It helps so you don't see the stock one way, invest, then look again and say, "Why didn't I see that."
Of course I fell into the penny stock thing. I was tired of making $200 a year from stock. I recently came across a strategy that can double my returns with each investment. If you do invest in penny stocks, I suggest try investing when a particular stock is matching or close to it's 52 week low. From there it can either go up or out of business. Pay attention to spikes in the stock and headline news. I never invest into a pennystock that has split. The only splits I want are banana splits."
