This 'company' went public on March 24th. It is an ecommerce website.
Do you know how many ecommerce websites there are in the world and how few of them require going public to fund them?
Read the thread: check out how this one unfolds. Very canned looking. Anyone who competes in the E-Commerce arena knows there is no guarantee of success."

Spooz almost sounds like "Splooge". I don't think they used a focus group on that name."

HappyHarry, this is a company using the web AND DIRECT SALES to sell their software. They offer an alternative to futures traders.
Right now, a competing company "Trading technologies" has kind of a monopoly over the market and they charge the traders using their templates 0.025/trade. Last year they sued several financial houses for alleged copyright on their templates.
Spooz meantime developped a new software. Their first product spooztoolz launched last week. An excel add-in for traders to build customized templates and live real date compatibility allowing them to make trades.
I am not guaranteeing their success either. But I do believe the product could see a fair amount of interest in the financial community. Also, they are less expensive than Trading Technologies and thats interesting for the customers.
I am waiting for the sales report following the launch to see if the software is successful. Until then I will hold SPZI until further notice without speculation."

This company is not a new company at all. I read that PDF for quite some time and could not make sense of it. They used to be some sort of hedge company and Texas, then they flipped and headed to Chicago and changed business models."

I never lose money. I just hold on to the junk for months or years until something happens. What a mess...."

I can't stand the name.
I really think they should have come up with a good professional maybe somewhat Excel 'ish (watch the TradeMarks though) kind of name.
It's hard to take a name like SpoozToolz seriously. The first thing comes to mind is it sounds like some hackerz wrote these warez....."
Heather said: "I can't even say what that name reminds me of..
It's unladylike.. :)"

FYI
Not sure if you read this but The name Spooz comes from pit trader slang for the S&P 500 futures contract. If so disregard."
