Zster is better than any book :p
Ummm I don't know, try amazon.com. I bought at least a dozen books off of it, none on day trading though."

Have you considered audio books? If you spend a lot of time on the road, you will be whizzing through "books" at lightning speed."

Meanwhile just listening to the financial reports and reading financial news on the internet everyday will start to build a foundation of knowledge as you find the perfect books.
On my way to work at 10am I listen to Bloomerg radio (over-the-air by me but also on satellite radio). There are some interesting topics. At night coming home the topics are often European or Asian and also intertwine into the US market data. There's some pretty good intervews and discussions going on. Stuff I NEVER hear elsewhere.

True, true... but it beats driving back and forth to work listening to the news and stock gurus - a day late and a dollar short....."
Rickster said: "A lot of people think that risk is the source of daytrader stress. I used to get all stressed out when I was day trading. Especially at first. After I returned to the work force it occurred to me that I was risking my life every day to drive to work, without the tiniest bit of stress. When I was day trading all I was risking was money, since I didnt have to drive to work.
I think cause of day trading stress is that many day traders, like myself, are used to being able to do analysis that proves correct 95 to 100% of the time. They know that, in real life, the play with the best odds is to defend their position. So when the market goes against them, they stand pat, believing they will ultimately be proven right. This results in a great deal of confusion, frustration and a feeling of loss of control. That is, stress.
The guys who can handle day trading accept whatever happens, deal with it and move on. They dont take it personally. They recognize and accept the perversely random nature of market movements.
As I have said before, one key to being a good day trader is temperament."
