Euro goes lower on French referendum

chahinemm said: "short term yet long term no because after reading the document itself some lacks existed and the french peopple picked it up for instance it was mainly pushing the big corps... to favour yet the middle and lower class there was merely anything on it and i can bet there is a major issue on it and the EU commission will have to do something about it if they want it passed. longer term in my opinion it should be fairly stable and around the same level as it has been fluctuating up and down equivalent to $ IMO at least chahine"

chahinemm said: "for sure but i think it really works on how welll u can understand the intricate web of global economy. if you see the major inflection points in each u can determine where the direction it could lead yet its not certain like stocks becuase there are other micro variables that will effect the equation... the micro could change the direction in which the currency may go... but also influencing is the position of the country within the entire web... such that the euro and dollar is going to be prone to changes in lets say england, canada or japan compared to australia who is envolved yet not mediatically visible and therefore less prone to major effects and therefore lower volatility (yet a minor degree will always exit) so it also depends on you perception on how much risk you are willing to take... hopefully in next few months when im in Paris ;) ill be doing some research on it and see what are current strategies on them and how they can be improved or super imposed from stock strategies if possible... should be interesting... do any of you know any specific forex strategies... ?? im sure there are couple out there that are fairly successfull... the buffett of forex if any :D ?? chahine"
