These guys make software that lets you work remotely. That is, from home, tree-house, airport, wherever there is internet access. I have used this software over the last 2 years to work on a project with people stretched from coast to coast. We use it to access a common database and a plant network. Last month, I used it from home. I am not geeky enough to know how it works, but what it does is make your computer act as if you are at work. You even get your normal at work desktop. It works well.
The valuations look good to me. The only number that bothers me is the amount held by institutions. I normally like to get in before they do. Normally I would think I am late to this party, but I can see a huge potential for growth in this area. The chart looks like a lot of other tech stocks that got carried away in the boom.
It is currently in the 30 range and trending down. I am thinking I might pick up some if it stabilizes above 25. No hurry. Thinking ahead.
So, what do you think? Do any others of you use this software? Is this company in your backyard? Do they have a superior competitor? What do you fundamentals guys think of the valuations? ……….Lay it on me. I’ll listen."

It's Microsoft based, like everything, and that turns me off. It has it's occasional bugs.
We use Citrix at my hospital. Patient confidentiality has become more focused and Critix help control health care workers access to data.
Personally I hate the product. I don't think it is the best it could be. But it does seem like a growth company for this day and age.
The only software stock that I find sexy is Intuit Inc. (INTU). Intuit makes Turbotax which I LUV to death!!!!!!! I used Turbotax this year and my accountant is FIRED!!!!! :D
I don't own the stock but have watched it for curiousity. If I see one good pullback I'm ALL OVER IT!!!"

Once logged on - it was nice, as you mentioned to have all my work "stuff" at hand. On the other hand, A/B has used it for the past 20 years or so (my wife currently uses it - and has a love/hate relationship with the software) and hasn't come up with a better alternative. I know the I.S. guys at the various locations aren't thrilled with Citrix - but again - it's all they've got.
BTW - the "SecureID" used to log on with is really cool.... I can't figure out how that little jewel works..... but I love it..."
