Maybe a more fair option would be to set up some kind of agreement that entitles them to put a banner on the site in return for paying a nominal advertising fee. Or set up a vendor sub forum. Not having checked out his website - I don't know if the "ad space" is worth the trade off for free LII quotes (which I get free anyway so could care less). All that being said, you're right - an advertiser such as they are - would seem to have much more "long term" success by working out a "standing banner" on the various forums. "FREE LII's - just put up with a few pop-ups" (that you might discover some new MS/GOOG from).."

Honestly, I feel it would be best that the administrators take this down ASAP, so as not to set a bad example, if nothing else.
