What's up all?!

Rickster said: "Its all good here. Just finished helping to auction off my wife's parent's household junk. Not a lot of fun, but it is good to have it cleaned up and behind us. Did you finish off those books yet?"

Mr. Gekko said: "I agree. It has been quiet here. But, here's my excuse... I drove central New Jersey to drop off my car at my auto dealer. My Accord needed a new timing belt. It was worked on today and I picked it up around 3.30 this afternoon. Other than that I have no reason not to be here. ;)"

Did you finish off those books yet?[/QUOTE] Thanks for reminding me that I want to sell some things on Ebay. As far as the books go... Not even close! I did finish "The Psychology of the Stock Market". Great book for it's age. I'm going to read it again as soon as I finish the Nicolas Darvas book "How I made $2,000,000...." It's a very entertaining book that reads just like my current situation, minus the traveling all over the world part. After that, I have some very thick books to dig into."

SporeMonger said: "Well, I guess that explains it. You all have lives! :)"

I've always wanted a BMW myself. The closest I've gotten to one is the Accord I have now which is an EX model (somewhat of an upscale version from the LX). But, I'm young so I have plenty of time... one day I'll have a "Beemer" in my garage."

It's honestly way more car than I can handle. Your whip's not bad itself, and a lot safer. :D"

I was on Rt. 22 headed to Clinton, NJ the other day and there's one section of the highway in Easton, PA that has sharp S curves. The speed limit sign there says 45 but I cruised through comfortably at 60. Tightest car I've ever driven."

Mr. Gekko said: "Actually, I think the speed limit sign says 35. Regardless, it's not an area that anyone should be doing 60. I just have a led foot. ;)"

Isn't there a million troopers on that stretch? The times I've happened to drive down there I always seem to see speed traps. Traffic tickets own my life, I'm a magnet for violations of any shape and smell. I try to save the fun for off the highway twisties."

They split in Fogelsville, PA (which is just west of Allentown). 22 stays north while 78 spurs south of the downtown areas of ABE (Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton). 22 and 78 rejoin just east of Phillipsburg, NJ. The portion of 22 I was speaking of is in Easton. It's actually called "Cemetery Curve" because it twists around a cemetery along with a few giant hills. The S curve is so sharp that the white dashed line on the freeway turns into a solid line. County Mounties never set up on 22 in this area because they don't have a place to do so. And if there's one place along the highway they should set up..!!! Anyway, I am careful. I only drive like an idiot when traffic is light, which is hard to come by anymore."

You've always been a welcome member of this forum - with good insight and quality questions/statements. You're not as rowdy as some of us (hmmm, who can he mean?) - but I can appreciate your steady demeanor - and obvious determination to get ahead. Z"
