The best day to buy into a stock is the day it hits it's weekly low (or monthly low). That usually happens on a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/or Friday. Not trying to be trite - but there is no "best day". There are trends, as pointed out by my friend, the Rickster. Money tends to flow into the market on Fridays - the first day of the month - and the 15th (paydays).
The time of day, in fact, seems to tend to be either early or late - in my personal experience. The market tends to overreact early and correct by mid-day - after lunch tends to be another ball game - with the same thing happening then that happened early. I prefer early trading - as I try to "buy low" and sell around noonish .... and, if the equity I'm watching is dumping late in the day - it tends to continue the trend the following morning."

Man, I can't wait to get back to working 2nd shift. I miss watching the market in action! All of what you said is so true Zster! My personal favorite time to buy is around lunch time. Volume tends to be lower at this time but, picks up around 1.30-2.00. Also, if the market rallies or dumps after 2.30 it tends to last to the close. Just my observations."

plus they are heavily into debt
all these voip services should eventually die off with skype and ebay taking over the world.
IMO:eek:"

If you are trully interested in VoIP, then I would check out the cable companies. They are not a true play on internet phone service, but they stand the best chance of taking on the telco's."

Vonage is not charging for what skype offers free. Not at all. Skype offers free Skype to Skype calls. You get charged for calling a landline. BEsides, with VOnage you use your current phones, not your computer like with Skype."

You heard somewhere that it is going to be good? That is the worst reason to buy a stock. If you are going to dabble in stocks, you must be able to do your own research and formulate your own opinions."
thezster said: "On the other hand - at least you had the "wherewithall" to ask questions about your thoughts in this forum. Which, is what it's for! Never be afraid to ask a question - but be prepared for the responses if you haven't done your homework. By asking those questions - and absorbing the responses - you will, hopefully, learn what questions to ask of yourself before making a decision regarding your $$.
We're pretty critical around here - but with that criticism comes enlightenment of a sort - which will help you become a better investor/trader."
