Their primary business is financial print, they are the guys that print up all the prospectus' for most major companies. They also do some corporate printing (print brochures for certain banks, print mcdonalds signs and so on). Their main focus and most profitable accses is the financial print area, they also submit annaul and quarterly reports to SEDAR. Their stock has been trading side ways for years. Instituational ownership is in the 90% and insiders have been buying like crazy lately. What do you guys think?"

My dad is a director of this company (of the Canadian division, he won't have access to the same information as the Americans and their headoffice is in NYC), he's been telling me they have been going out of business for the last 10 years. Yet his coworkers keep buying more and more shares."

Though I will say that it sounds like the company is treading water. The buy back may be just to mask how bad things really are... just like a reverse stock split. Maybe they'd do better if they stopped paying a dividend. Companies with a negative EPS shouldn't be giving away free money to their investors. Yet, if they cut it the stock will tank, therefore rendering the buy back pointless. On the other hand, if the earnings continue on the down side BNE may be forced to cut their dividend. Things don't look good from my point of view but, as I said you may know better."

On YAHOO is see a lot of planned bailing at the mid-15s. It's kinda right in like with the sector...not really discounted. I don't see any assumed growth and I see negative estimated earnings. The only possible play I see is buying on a large pullback and then hoping future earnings spurs stock gains by beating the street... ...but I must concede there are more sure ways to make money."
