Gas has been between 2.00-2.30 a gallon around here."

+1
I'm typing this because my message of 2 characters is too short...no other reason, but I say again +1."
Heather said: "It hasn't slowed me down much either.
If you have to drive, you have to drive. That's how I look at it!"
HappyHarry said: "I do resent paying $2.30 a gallon though."
alhamid said: "You still gotta drive to work. Try riding your bike and you sweat too much!"
Heather said: "The cost of a barrel of fuel has increased 2 more dollars.
They are blaming the recent hurricanes and the threat of more as the reason."
BarbBQ said: "i have started carpooling with a couple of friends at work.
it has helped to cut gas prices, and since we all have to go there anyhow why drive 4 cars, when 1 can do the job?
i'm glad that i'm conserving fuel, too. this simple change has helped all of us cut our weekly gas costs. one little thing i can do."
Heather said: "Gas prices here were really close to 3.00 a gallon earlier this week.
The last I looked they were around 2.55.
If I don't have to drive, I don't. I imagine that I can't be the only one.
One sort of cool thing is that the grocery store that I shop at gives you .10 cents of a gallon discount for every 50.00 that you spend there.
The last fillup cost us 3.11.. for the entire tank!
I have a .50 cent discount towards my next fuel up, so that should take a "chunk" out of it.. or at least down to the prices we're used to paying."

AlfredSokol said: "I recently had a similar deal from the grocery store and it made filling the tank up a joy for once.
I think that program is probably really good for the grocers and really bad for the bedraggled indy operators."
