How many trades do you plan on executing this year?

AlfredSokol said: "As a sort of extension to the last question I had, I wonder how many trades you folks do in a year. I only plan on doing around 3-5 trades this year. I know tonys is a trader, but how many trades do you all do and how do you keep track of the paperwork?"

WellsTrader said: "I usually do about one trade per month, but I am going to try to cut back this year since I am on my own. With Wells fargo they mail me the paperwork for each buy and sell I do and I stick it in a folder and give it to H&R Block at the end of the year."

tonys said: "600 this year probably, did 800 last year, don't think that market will give up as many swings this year, as for keeping track ,well that is the fun part at tax season, lol."

Darren said: "getting paperwork after each trade sounds really nice!"

ToastMonger said: "I'll maybe do a couple of trades. It all depends on when I can get out of CXII."

HappyHarry said: "Most likely I'll be under 10. 7 winners and we should be all set."

Heather said: "About 5 for me."

tonys said: "25 years, doing over 500 trades a year for about 8 years now....."

WellsTrader said: "Wow, I hope you get commission and fee free trades TonyS. I pay almsot 25 bucks a whack, and on penny stocks more than that so I pay almost as much in fees as I make in a year. Lol."
