Undiscovered solar play: WWAT

kukaman said: "Solar plays have been very hot and this will probably continue as the price for oil reaches new highs. WWAT is one that is undiscovered. WWAT engages in the design, development, and marketing of technology relating to water needs and solar power applications, including solar power projects and international water management consulting. WWAT grew sales last year from $1.3 million to $5.8 million and there is a $12.6 million sales backlog so far this year which represents a 110% increase over 2004. WWAT recently released news that it has been making preparations for introducing its solar powered systems to the expansive China market! Best of luck to everyone, Kuka"

California just passed its first vote on the Million Solar Roofs Bill on June 1st, which aims to build a million solar powered homes and businesses by 2017 by a vote of 28 to 3. With WorldWaters recent success with making the first 2 residential homes and a college solar powered, not to mention all the farms, it might be a leading contender to putting up the solar roofs when the option is presented for homebuyers. I know for myself if I had an option for solar power when buying a home, I would definitely take it. Even if would cost a bit more, it would definitely save you money on the long run."

How does 2008 look?[/QUOTE] You know I was just looking at the financials of this stock and found something interesting. 2007 Research and Development Spending for WWAT: Q1: $15,000 Q2: $47,000 Q3: $70,000 Q4: $552,000 I do like to see companies investing in research to stay ahead of the game! The only thing I see that might bother me is that their gross income has fluctuated instead of continually increasing: Q1: $860,000 Q2: $199,000 Q3: $337,000 Q4: $564,000"
