Both of them require a pretty substantial market move in one direction or other to make money, but it is safer, speculation wise, than straight puts or calls. I am geared towards more steady income strategies, as you know. The closest I ever come to speculation is the occassional ATM butterfly. Sorry I couldn't help much. Holzie."

Delta said: "I don't use a retail brokerage myself, but a lot of my friends use Think or Swim. They all seem to be pretty happy with TOS, especially from a tech standpoint. OptionsXpress is also supposed to be good. Stay clear of equity brokerages like E-trade and Scott Trade, though. They just don't know how to handle options orders. I used to have an etrade account and I canceled it out of frustration."
