New to long timeframe trading, need help

TheStocker said: "As the title says I am not new to trading futures such as the Euro and the S&P 500 on 1,3,5min time frames. What I do need help with is trading the longer time frames with stocks. I know all of the indicators very well and when I traded the 1,3,5min I used BB and RSI divergences and traded counter trend and did well but I want to move to trading maybe end or start of day not 5+ trades a day. Any book / sites / suggestions are welcome. I also can help if you need with short term stuff, and no I am not a service lol :)"

Normally, the same technicals will work for both intRAday and intERday--it's just a matter of tweaking to fit the time frame. BTW, what time frame did you have in mind? Days? Weeks? Months?"

TheStocker said: "Looking at days, I have played around with them but I have not had much luck. I used BB 13 and RSI to 6 and traded the breakout of the BB w/ RSI divergences and it worked well and it was low risk but I can not seem to get this to work on long time frames. I checked out the Bill Williams stuff and it seems okay the MA's with Fractals and such but what I am really looking for is something that is not going to give me a heart attack from stress, not get stopped out in .25 and not have to scan 1000's of charts for the 10 indicators to line up on a full moon :)"

Rickster said: "Also watch the TICK and TRIN, of course."
