What is their primary business?"
Icecold99 said: "creating a technology that help company expand and stuff like that"
HappyHarry said: "It looks like they have VOIP products.
The sales numbers look great! They went from $2.5 mill to over $25 million in one year and project sales of $75 million this year."
AlfredSokol said: "This is an interesting stock. They did a number of acquisitions in the last few years.
It was tough to figure out their products from their website though."
Heather said: "Their gross sales look like they are trending up nicely.
VoIP is an emerging technology for sure. I don't know if I'd want to give up my LAN line, though.."
alhamid said: "i read through and saw they made very decent acquisitions. i wonder why they ended up at .40"
StockFreak said: "Giving the fact my eyes are starting to hurt from reading a bs penny stock site all night, looking at this company is quite refreshing. It actually makes money! On top of that it has data and a business that isnt a bunch of baloney! Im going to look at this one a little bit longer tomorrow but so far it looks pretty decent."
alhamid said: "yes, this is exciting. i want to find if its too good to be true"
Darren said: "i'd love to hear from a customer who uses their products"
HappyHarry said: "I checked them out some more and the company looks solid. I'm sure I'm missing something though, because the stock is moribund."
StockFreak said: "Harry i actually added this to my portfolio (about .5%). I found out that it used to trade under the name IPVO. They were releasing positive PR but the stock was tanking. So maybe its hit a bottom. The numbers look good enough for me to speculate on."
HappyHarry said: "Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. 1000 shares would not break the bank and if they release numbers anything like this for the next year or so, this could be a big gainer.
I'm sort of reminded of Taser when they were very low."
StockFreak said: "I think its going to come down to management and how well they can market the stock."
StockFreak said: "Wow, that was weird as i posted that they have some news coming in on the wire and the stock is up .02cents. Ill let yall know after the market closes."

"Our growth and the resulting increased revenues, profits and improved balance sheet also improve our credibility with prospective clients and partners," said Philip Verges, commenting on NewMarket's anticipated sales acceleration. "When we acquired our first company and we had a negligible market capitalization and a start-up balance sheet, it became clear that the acquisition was a watershed event which led to the rapid acquisition of four additional companies in the following few months. Signing a contract that will result in an increase in annualized revenue approaching what NewMarket reported for the entire 2004 fiscal year is a similar watershed event that we anticipate will lead to the rapid closing of several subsequent large contracts that we have been working on these past few months."
Indeed. If this contract closes on 9/1 I'm definitely loading the aircraft carrier."
StockFreak said: "This is still very speculative, lets hope management can keep this baby in the black without having to dent the stock."
HappyHarry said: "Execution is the key. They have the right idea being in China, and at least the CEO is out there himself getting contracts."

HappyHarry said: "Right, so they feel the price is too low.
I wonder about managements that are too concerned with the share price though. Although, at 40 cents a share, I'm sure he has reason to be concerned."

HappyHarry said: "I'm planning on buying a little also. My first true penny stock.
I like the market segments they're in, and the growth rate is phenomenal. Using VOIP, they pitch companies on how leading edge tech can save them money. Let's face it, almost every company nowadays wants to cut costs. VOIP can be the answer."
StockFreak said: "
My first true penny stock.

Mine as well."
AlfredSokol said: "My first was IMTR, which I went crazy on and bought, knowing it was a pump and dump.
I like the sales approach of NewMarket. They set up a working relationship before they start implementing the technology. If their sales crew is impressive, this company has a TON of upside. Imagine finding a true winning company at under .50 cents a share! That could be a great ride."
StockFreak said: "Yea, im pretty excited about this one. Usually thats a bad thing when im investing. :o It will be the first stock i will actually cut a portion of my "leisure gambling" money for. That is money i would normally take to the craps tables here in town and laugh in the face of statistical risk reward analysis."
HappyHarry said: "I actually am planning on calling their Xiptel division to see if they can save me some money on my business phone service.
They have each of their divisions setup as subsidiaries and the numbers are pooled."

All the insiders reported on there are selling. Not one buyer. That's enough for me to forget this company. The CEO can say that next year they will be more profitable than Microsoft but if the insiders are selling, I won't be buying."

Remember that company, years ago, long distance provider.. they let you sell their services to other people and then you got a portion of their long distance usage each month, make residule income blah blah... anyways they were suppose to be the next great thing because they could offer cheaper long distance rates because of XYZ technology... blah blah... then Pacific Bell eliminated them in my area with one swipe of their hand by offering a .10 cents a minute plan...
Listen, my stop losses were hit in 5 other VOIP companies I was in this year. See the chart, how it hit $.80 in Dec. 04, and has been in a massive yearly downtrend since? There's a reason for this. Almost all VOIP companies followed this same downward trend.
Investing in VOIP is sort of like investing in Nanotechnology... you don't do it right now. Maybe when/if things improve for this industry in the future... but for now... I mean think about it. SBC can launch their own VOIP network, or the other major Bells. These guys launched DSL and laying of all the infastructure... it's a lot harder to launch DSL than VOIP, to be a pioneer, and yet these big bad boys bells did it. Why wouldn't they just do it with VOIP if it becomes profitable enough to do so?--effectively crushing these small companies selling VOIP services. SBC could come out with their own VOIP based telephones... or, they could offer a package deal for an extra $5 per month, you get a VOIP phone.
And competing against companies like SBC, well.... that's a little bit like having a bookstore and opening it up and putting up a website and trying to compete against Amazon.com"
HappyHarry said: "Lance has a point. Let's face it, telecom companies in any ilk rarely make real money. They're too busing having price wars and worrying about market share.
VOIP is probably doomed to the same mentality."
StockFreak said: "Both Lance and Liv bring up solid points. However there are a ton of reasons insiders sell, and labeling them solely a voip company i believe is incorrect. Instead, like their name implies, they locate, finance and directly apply new ideas to an existing customer base, while helping improve productivity and cutting costs with these products. As the price of energy keeps going up, companies will need these services.
On another note, remember that Corning started out a tupperware company. Thats what good management will do, evolve, and so far the management has proven to be very, very good. The only thing im worried about is how the stock will react on bad news, because its barely moving on good news

LanceJ said: "
However there are a ton of reasons insiders sell,
Absolutely... insiders could be selling to raise more money to take out of pocket to keep things going.... they could be selling because they need to put food on the table and pay the bills also... absolutely; however, it's not the insider selling that is troubling, it's the absence of insider buying at these price levels.
This is especially important when it comes to octbb stocks. I want to see a company that the insiders are buying, why? Because the insiders know what is coming next for their company and they are willing to bet their stock will go up... a complete absence of insider buying like you see here is not a good sign."
LanceJ said: "
they locate, finance and directly apply new ideas to an existing customer base, while helping improve productivity and cutting costs with these products...Corning started out a tupperware company. Now Cornig and tupperware is something I understand, applying new ideas to an existing customer base while trying to improve productivity and cut costs.... well... it's not something I understand. Tupperware is tangible, I can hold in my hands, I can see it at Target or the grocery store. It's like bubble gum, I can put it in my mouth and chew it... intangible support services in an otcbb where even the management has been unwilling to buy shares in their own company at these price levels, is too risky for me... but seriously, I hope you become filthy rich off this stock...good luck my friend."
StockFreak said: "Very good point Lance. However, keep in mind only about $3.7 million was sold this year, and i realize the company only has a 36M market cap, lol. Maybe its a reverse fake out  , either way a solid point."
StockFreak said: "Looks like my conviction on this stock has paid off thus far. I bought all the way down to 31, down almost 25% at one point, now well in to the black. Ill admit i was swearing at Mr. Vargas via my computer screen earlier in the month lol. I have a nice size position now and will continue to buy if it pulls back. They made the Deloitte's fast 500 earlier in the month seemed to have given the stock a kick in the pants."
LanceJ said: "Well, when you started this thread, the stock was trading for about $0.45... 3 months later, the stock trades for about the same amount.
During that 3 month period, the stock fell close to $0.32 per share.
Buying down, and lowering ones cost basis makes it difficult to assess value on the stock and your recommendation. That is why stockdepot and I both don't mention double down plays as it lowers the cost basis, in which case one could repeat over and over again that they are buying as the stock has fallen (whether it was true or not we don't know) and look like they have an excellent pick from the start.
That is why it is much more respectable to take the time in which the stock was recommended and use that figure. It's not fair to assume that everyone would have continued to double down as the stock dropped to lower their cost basis. Then, each person would have a different cost basis depending on how many shares they bought the first time, the second time, etc...
So, as far as I'm concerned, this stock has gone no where since the end of July when you first started this thread as evidenced by the chart here:
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ta?s=NMKT.OB&t=1y&l=on&z=m&q=l&p=m50,m200&a=&c=
In fact, the stock is still in a much larger downward trend that begins after it spiked in December of 2004 as evidenced by the chart above and the subsequent crossover of the 50 and 200 day MA to the downside. So your phraseology "given the stock a kick in the pants"... I just don't see. I see more of a relief rally, bounce off interim bottom in the middle of October, and until the 50 day MA crosses back over the 200 day MA to the upside, the upward movement is not technically an upward trend yet... it remains a bounce."
StockFreak said: "My bad  I could have bailed and tried to stop the bleeding. Instead i bought down because i was convinced, thats all."

hit the "Insert Image" link up top of the box where you (post reply) and paste in the path of the pic. Keep in mind that doing this will display the pic on the page. So it may be to large. Links I always feel are better for large photos."
