Howdy Back

holzie said: "Hey guys, whats up and greetings from the beautiful country of Kyrgystan -- the wether is great, work hours long and you cant drink or touch any chicks here....so I guess the only excitment here is options trading :) So I look at the forums and there is nothing going on around here? Nobody is trading any options? I don't believe it. I am still peddling the calendars because they are safe enough to "couch trade"...but I have to say that my position is very very tiny -- just to stay in the game. 93% cash, and not planning on buying anything because it's all to expensive for my taste...... ....Thinking about a bear call spread in July, but.....there is no rush, certainly there is not much rationality in the market these days so I am willing to sit and watch... Let us know what you are doing. Holz."

Maybe next week, volatility has pulled up thanks to the roller coaster last week so premiums should be up, still in a bull trend so I may actually be looking at way out of the money double supported Bull Put Spreads. Then again we may have hit the summer doldrums and the markets are still way over due for a good strong pull back so a Bear Call Spread looks good. AHHH I am still undecided so I am going to sit on the fence and watch a little longer. Too many other fires burning right now - Real Estate, Internet, Professional Speaking engagements - who has time to trade?"

I tried to be clever by turning a Put Vertical (bullish) into a bearish position by buying back the shorts... timed it perfectly to the turn-around and lost more than if I would have just closed the vertical. I really like options though, tons of possibilities with each position."
