Nanotech/BiometricsNanotech/Biometrics

As I have been reading the other threads I have enjoyed your input on various stocks and investment topics. Another similar thread identified the growing nanotech/biometric sector that is growing, and I believe be exploding in the next 5 to 10 years. I believe that investing in companies that are establised and growing is a way to become rich. But, to become wealthy you have to be able to anticipate the future so to speak. This means if you believe in growth that nanotech and biometrics have, as an investor you would be greatly rewarded by identifying those companies that will dominate the industry or offer top of the line products. I admit this is more risky that staying with the "Big Boys", but the rewards could pay off many times over.
If you don't believe in this industry that is fine, I wish you luck in your investing endeavors. But, those of you that do believe in the future of this industry. I would love to kick around a few ideas about potential companies, instruments, articles, that could give us a head start on identifying the best companies in the industry. My hope is that we can identify some areas that will be blockbusters in this sector, and get in before the majority of the public becomes aware of this sectors growing potential.
If you don't know much about the nanotechnology field, just seach around on the internet on this topic and you will find plenty of resources to fill you in. Hopefully we can make some progress on this. Also Merrill Lynch has an index that they created last year, solely to follow this industry. The index is NNZ on the AMEX. You can also go to merrill Lynch's website and find out more.
Thanks guys,
Mike"

i think you are correct of course. but i have to admit my science is not so good. what companies do you like?"

I will have to get back to you with my answer, as I haven't analysed all of them yet. I have analyzed stock tickers VECO and FEIC, both of which are in the index. They both deal with solutions for Intel and AMD and their coming problem of making their chips smaller and being able to make them faster. Intel and AMD's current method will hit a wall in the next few years. (Moore's Law) The Foresight group offers a lot of information regarding nanotech and its future.
talk to you later..."

They aren't listed as a biometric stock as in fingerprint, eyescan etc...
But they use the finger for the chip and other technologies as well, besides being funded by the government and having a hand in National ID (NID) cards that will start in 2008...
I've mentioned these 2 plenty on this site and currently have some shares in ADSX...
SFE and MRKL are cheap stocks that could make a decent push...I like JMAR and CLRT...these are some I've had on my watchlist...
check these out and look for similar companies to see what you like..."
