Rather be lucky than good?...ABV

Cryogenix said: "In looking at the pennystock forum last night, I decided to check one out and accidentally typed in ABV (instead of ABVG) and came up with a very nice-looking beverage stock with strong fundies and a super chart that recently had a small decline. http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=abv Anyway, I posted it in the shoutbox this morning during pre-market, then completely forgot about it until now, and noticed it closed @ 70.59, for a gain of $3.55. The chart still looks amazing. Did anyone get into this one this morning?"

Cryogenix said: "So, moron #22, you'd just sit there, ignore a $3.55 gain and let the stock drop $9 on you? You're one smart cookie... :th_dblthumb2: BTW, your incredible powers of observation apparently failed to notice the initial post was from two weeks ago, and that the stock was mentioned when it was at 67.00, and gained $3.55 that same day."

DaveinJapan said: "So, I'm confused...was this a call to take short positions? Sorry I missed it, that was one hell of a short! Congrats! :th_dblthumb2:So, you proudly called a 5% gainer is your point? So did I, yesterday, Apple. Big fucking deal (mine made $7 though, if you really want to talk dollars instead of percents)."

Cryogenix said: "Last: 80.65 (high 81.05, low 78.94 -VOL 521,000) So this thing has made an $18+ gain from where I mentioned the dip and sector snap around the end of August, and it's now exceeded its high target of $80, so I'm wondering if any of you who may also be holding this are now thinking of selling, or do you see more potential for this to continue gaining? Maybe a $3-$5 dollar surge to catch some people at the top before the MM topples it? Hate to sell being in so low, but if it's maxxed out, might as well take profits and wait for a pullback to get back in. Trading still feels decent, but energy seems to be dwindling a bit. I think there'll be a surge on Monday, at which point it'll probably be time to take profits. Have to see how things go. Hope some of you made some money... :)"

Cryogenix said: "Last: 84.40 Sold out again on this last leg, but this lower-starting climb might be something to look at for the shorts out there. The chart is still beautiful, but this last stretch looks like it might be finished if it can even make it to 87.00."

Cryogenix said: "Discovered it by accident while looking up a penny stock another forum member suggested. I've had two great trades and one small trade so far. Now, it's too high for me to touch, even though it does have room to advance. At the moment, it's about to touch its low target of 8 5.00, and given the look of the pattern that resembles an intraday pattern that typically results in a sharp drop off, I decided not to press my luck and be overly greedy. I'll keep watching for another chance to get in. Maybe in another month, depending on the market. EWG is another one I have to start looking at again."
