One large commercial real estate company I can think of is Westfield. I think they own just about every single shopping mall I can think of.
Do you think that owning a commercial building or two is a good idea? I'd be afraid that I wouldn't be able to fill vacancies, personally, but I suppose that would depend a lot on the location.
What are your thoughts?"

If you're in a growing/desirable area and you have a good property, you can make some pretty solid money on the place. However, I think that with commercial properties it is even more important to have a place that can appeal to a multitude of leasees. If the property is easily convertable between office and retail and is in the right location, the return potential can be pretty lucrative."
