Why can't 1/5 of Americans locate the US on a World Map?

About 10 percent of the american people would be less than about 8 years old, so they can't be held accountable. About 10 percent of the american people are mentally incapacitated in some way. Or perhaps blind, so they can't be held accountable. And education is compulsory here in America. So the few people who made it to - not even through - the educational system and cannot point to the United States on the map have no one to blame but themselves. And legislation and money will not cure laziness and indifference."
