These are known as Level 2 quotes. This is what you need if you want to know where your order stands in relation to others, but I don't know if you can get Level 2 quotes on over-the-counter or bulletin board stocks. If anyone knows whether this tool is available for these markets, please let us know. On the other hand, if you want to trade penny stocks, the best market to trade in is the Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX). This market is much more active than other penny stock markets, and you will not usually get stuck with a stock because of low trading volume."

http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=CNS.V where it says where it says Avg Vol does that mean the trading volume? so then theres a chance that I can sell at the trade value easyer? thank you"

InvestorMan said: "Yes, checking the average volume is a good indication of how active a stock is, but even that doesn't tell you the whole story. The average volume on Yahoo! Finance is based on the mean daily average for the past three months. Take a look at the three month chart for Canoro and you'll see that the stock trades in volume "spikes", especially between mid-May to mid-July, where most days it hardly traded at all and on a very few days it traded over a million shares. In times like these, you could get caught with your pants down if you are holding too many shares. The good news is that it looks like volume has picked up again since the middle of last month. You should be able to get in and out of up to 40,000 shares of this one safely. Can I ask you a question, though? What is it that you like about Canoro?"
