Scalping, does it works?Scalping, does it works?
Lukester said: "What does scalping mean in forex trading? Does it mean you enter positions like an options straggle and try to make money whether the rates goes up or down? And there is no reading of charts and analyzing trends and indicators?
Does systems like this work?

Scalpers place anywhere from dozens to hundreds of trades in a single day because they believe that the small price moves are easier to catch than larger moves."
Rickster said: "As AS said, scalping involves taking lots of small profits (and losses). Like any other technique, it works if it suits your temperament. It takes a certain type of person to scalp. You need to be able to make quick decisions, not be concerned with right or wrong and be willing to take frequent losses with absolutely no remorse."

There are no indicators to read and not much monitoring - just let the strategy runs its course for the day. Is this a form of scalping?"

How do brokers prevent scalping?"
