I was waiting to see what that resistance would show. The bump on both indices as well as the seasonal tendency to have an upswing from now until the middle of the month, I figure what the heck.
Have been looking at these two for a while on many fundie factiors. For a technical entry, I am looking for a quick trade (3-5 days ideally). Seasonality + ((1.28 Rule + Prime Lines) + Williams %R) has me thinking about going for LUM at 10.70 and PBNY at 12.25. However both depend on how the opening goes.
THIS IS NOT MEANT AS A TRADING RECOMMENDATION AND SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN AS SUCH. I AM MERELY CONSIDERING THESE TRADES, AND MAY NOT TAKE THEM. ANY OPINIONS GIVEN REGARDING THESE TRADES ARE ONLY THAT - OPINIONS"

Pure technical trading to me is just insane. I like to stack the deck. :) Look for great long term fundamentals, and then look for short term bites when the trend occurs using a technical entry.
Then, every once in a while a company like Redhat, where I know something of the field, I can use that same screening process to actually take on some long term holdings.
Not sure about todays open. I want to wait until tommorow to see if I take this particular short term trade. Regardless, they haven't hit any of my short-term entry goals so I'm safe atm. :)"
