I've always wanted a 2000 sq. ft house with a 10,000 sq. ft. garage! LOL :th_dblthumb2:"

Rbreb13 said: "My everyday driver: 1971 Plymouth Satellite, 318 cid, auto, ~36,000 original miles. And my pickup truck: 1940 GMC, 236 cid straight six."

FirefighterB said: "That 1940 GMC is AWESOME. I love old trucks like that. If I go back to Austin (or anywhere that owning a vehicle is feasible) I'm lookin to get a mid 50's Ford, maybe even a GMC or Chevy (I'm a Ford guy, but I like the old GMs too), to tote my motorcycle around. I also have a 1978 Corvette Pace Car with all options, 12k miles, and the original tires that my dad bought brand new back in 1978. It's in very good condition and still smells new inside, but it needs some work from sitting for so long. I wish he would have kept the other car he had at that time - a 1971 DeTomaso Pantera. He kept the Vette and sold the Pantera... I would love to buy an old firehouse and fix it up. I saw a show that was featuring nice garages and one guy had done that. Super, super cool place and as close to a dream house for me as you can get. Put it on the beach and I'd be set. Hahaha."

Pb3190 said: "If you find a firehouse on the beach let me know, I don't think I have ever see one at a location like that. I had a neighbor in Chicago who had heating and A/C in his 4 car garage..."

FirefighterB said: "Oh, I know man. I was being facetious. I know finding one with that would be next to impossible, but there's probably one SOMEWHERE in the US."

Pb3190 said: "I would take just about any beach property. As long as it is in a warm area, not some beach up in Alaska. When I get older I want to live near the coast."

lil dickie said: "I always liked the 60s GTO quite a bit."

FirefighterB said: "Definitely agree on the GTO. I love 'em all: GTO, Camaro, Mustang, Challenger, Javelin. I'd take any one of them. Of course, back when I was really into them, you could say that "they don't make 'em like that anymore" because we were still in the crap years. Mustang and Camaro were pushing about 225, the Vette was below 300 HP, and just about everything esle was gutless. Of course, now, they've come a long way with cars and I think, if anything, we're back in a muscle age. EVERYTHING has awesome power right now. You can get a CTS-V, an AMG Benz, or M-Bimmer that would run absolut circles around those "muscle" cars of 20 years ago, not even to mention what the Mustangs, Vettes, and Vipers are putting out. I love the stuff they're putting out these days. Auto design has really come a long way; the cars now are sleek, sexy, and the power is amazing, even in your average sedan."

darsh999 said: "I always loved the every model of the GMC . Well m actually planing to buy the latest one in coming year . Hope i ll get my dream fullfilled soon .:)"

Maverick Investor said: "When I was a kid, I LOVED American muscle cars! Then, along came the day when I had the money to buy one. I drove half a dozen, and each and every one of them was a piece of s**t!! Most disappointing. I guess they're OK on straight American roads but, here in the UK, we need cars that will corner without rolling about like an old fishing boat! Cheers!"

Heather said: "A guy I know have a friend that has a perfectly restored '57 chevy convertible. It's actually a pretty sweet car that he takes to classic car shows and stuff. I have no idea of what that car is worth, but I imagine it would catch a pretty penny."

pranith said: "well the classic cars are always been an fashion in the modern life. i think this type of investiments will up help us to get good returns."
