Maverick Investor said: "Funny - but a bit harsh! Actually, Panama has a fair bit going for it as an emerging property market. My problem with it is that there's more coast and low-lying land than there is mountain (from a RE perspective, anyway). And that's not good when the seas start to rise :-/ Cheers!"

FirefighterB said: "While it might be a bit harsh, one of the reasons this forum is great is that, relatively, we have a low level of spammers and people trying to push worthless BS. This allows worthwhile discourse and, also, helps keep newbies from falling in a BS trap."

However, she did seem to be genuinely offering to help anyone who was considering Panama as an investment destination (and many are!) Sure, she makes her living selling RA, but she didn't come on to us with the latest whizz-bang beachfront development at a 35% discount. And that ought to count for something? Cheers!"
