Raharu Haruha said: "for a long term investment i like YUM better. it has more of a stake in china, and it's fundamentals are a little stronger. mcd has 9% 5 year growth and a PE of of around 26, Yum has a PE of around 22 and 12% 5 year growth. Mcd could go higher in the short term because of the recession, but it's ability to grow is low. I think I'm going to watch for their earnings and determine whether or not to buy based on that."

FirefighterB said: "MCD is starting to feel the pain too. Them taking the double cheeseburger off the $1 menu is something that makes me think they're starting to feel the pain of higher food prices. I don't follow the stock at all, so that's just my totally random and outside opinion."

He didn't display any exuberance at all when comparing his organization to McDonalds. That stuck in my mind."
