A shot in the arm could make this a big winner.
Security and energy are "in" right now.."

I'll put it on my watch list and see if that good news translates to the stock performance any time soon and if a trendline goes up, we might be on to something."

I've got another biometric company on my watch list, BKYI.OB
Biometrics is the future, there is no question or anything to debate about that. But which company or companies that are going to take us there, now that is the hard part.
If we started a watch list specifically for the biometric industry, with the intent of tracking the leaders that emerge in the biometric industry early, we would be wise. At some point, biometrics is going to be everywhere. Biometrics is the answer to indentity theft."

Exactly. It reminds me of the airline industry :o
Something very encouraging for Identix is that they have no long-term debt, which means they're not going bankrupt anytime soon.
However, and it's a BIG however, the company's fortunes rests on technology. If a competitor introduces a better technology in one area, Identix will get hurt. They have multiple products, which can be a good thing and a bad thing. A good thing in the sense that they won't prosper or die based on one product, and a potentially bad thing because a firm that specializes in one area may come up with better technologies and run a more efficient operation.
Their lack of earning a profit in the last 6 years straight makes me stay away from investing in it. I will watch it closely though. A huge jump in sales and this stock will head for the stars."
HappyHarry said: "I agree. Their income statement is scary. They haven't been able to sustain or grow revenues and they're nowhere near profitable. However, a few more big orders could change that. Since it was the Department of Immigration which bought the scanners, the market potential could be huge."
Liviu said: "Wouldn't it be nice if a company had a monopoly in Biometrics?! :D"

That would be the one I'd want! :)"
