Numbers instead of charts?

Justin said: "I'm trying to decipher exactly what is going on with specific stocks during the day but all I can find are those line charts which don't really show the fine details. Can anyone provide a link or a program that will provide me with the exact numbers as they were updated? Also, do stock prices change continuously throughout the day, or are they posted for a specific amount of time, then updated at the next "phase"? So, when I look at the charts for the day's activity, are the charts just taking snapshots of the price? Or is it the exact data at that time? Sorry for the newbieish questions, but some of this really basic information is hard to find if you don't know where to look."

Justin said: "Yes, I'm looking for just a list of daily numbers instead of those charts. Those charts don't really show the small details that I am looking for."
