New Here & New to Trading

CMTWinner said: "Hello, My name is Christopher Winner, I am 22 years old and live just outside of Wilmington, Delaware. I am new to this site and new to investing. From what I've read so far and playing an online stock stimulator, I think I'm addicted already. I know I'm no where near ready to start investing with real money, but I've been reading everything I can, trying to learn as much as I can about investing. Any tips for the newbee? Books, websites etc.???? Sincerely, Christopher M.T. Winner"

On the other hand, you can make a fortune if you do. I've never used any market simulators so, I can't comment on them either way. I will say, that I've read a lot of books and there are numerous good reads out there. I would suggest checking out the SI "Stock Market and Investing Book Reviews" section. Good luck!"

Heather said: "Hello and welcome to Superior Investor. What type of investing are you looking to do? Long term? Short term?"

Thyra said: "Hello and welcome. I am new here as well. Hope to get along with everyone... :)"

CMTWinner said: "Heather, Some of both. I would like to have a very diversified portfolio when I begin investing. I would also like to place money in bonds and get into some real estate. I have a lot more reading and learning to do before I plan on putting money anywhere. Best of Luck, Christopher M.T Winner"
