Mr. Gekko said: "Utilities are usually good for long term investments. EXC has an average dividend for the sector. Both PPL and FE have about the same yield. I own Con Edison (ED) which has a yield of 6.00%. Not trying to push it but, you might want to check it out if you're thinking long term."

Dmfino said: "Exelon stock has been very good to me. I recently sold a good portion of my holdings to purchase a home. I sold @ 91.16 and I see it's now down around 82.00. This past year has been a tough one on stocks."
